Product Description
Patellar Groove Replacement Implant

The PGR device is a unique solution to address patellar luxation, a condition in which the kneecap dislocates from its normal position in the patellar groove. This is the first and only device on the market to restore a functional patellar groove.

Surgical treatment of patellar luxation is intended to restore stability to the joint. Patellofemoral degenerative disease is often an overlooked consequence of canine knee disorders.

Key Features:
  • Immediate stabilization in the smooth artificial groove.
  • Two-component design (base plate and artificial groove) for secure fixation.
  • Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC) coating for low friction (m=0.05).
  • Heat generation kept below the thermal necrosis threshold.
  • Over 10 different sizes for an ideal fit across dog breeds.
